Connecting your Google account
Authorize Monad to read your Gmail and Calendar so agents can act on your behalf.
Some integrations — like Google Workspace — need your account, not a shared workspace key. For these, you connect once with your own login, and agents use your access when they act on your behalf.
Connecting
- Open Settings → MCP Preferences.
- Find the server your admin set up (for example "Google Workspace"). It shows a Connect with … button instead of a credentials field.
- Click Connect. You'll be taken to the provider's sign-in page (Google, GitHub, etc.).
- Approve the requested access. You'll be returned to Monad with a green Connected badge.
Once connected, you can ask an agent things like "What are my last two hours of email, and when's my next meeting?" without thinking about credentials.
Reconnecting
If you ever see an amber Reconnect needed badge, your access expired or the admin added new permissions. Click Reconnect and approve again.
Google tip: Google only issues a long-lived connection when the request asks for offline access. If you keep getting asked to reconnect, your admin may need to add
access_type=offlineandprompt=consentto the server's settings.
Disconnecting
Click Disconnect next to the server at any time. Your access is removed immediately and agents can no longer use that account until you reconnect.
Who can see this
Your connection is yours alone. Other members can't use it, and admins can see only that you've connected (for auditing) — never your tokens.
