A quieter week on the surface — under the hood the team is heads-down on bigger features landing soon. The one visible change: connecting Gmail just got simpler.
A cleaner consent screen for Gmail
When you connect your Gmail account, the OAuth consent screen now asks for a single permission instead of four. Previously Monad requested separate permissions for reading, composing, labeling, and modifying mail — but one of those already covers everything the other three do. The result is a shorter, easier-to-understand grant that does exactly the same thing.
If you already connected Gmail, nothing changes — your existing connection keeps working as before. The simpler screen only appears for new connections.
