Use Monad with ChatGPT
Connect the ChatGPT app to Monad so it can take actions in your workspace.
The ChatGPT app supports MCP servers, so you can let ChatGPT take actions in your Monad workspace just like a teammate does.
Connect
- In the ChatGPT app, open Settings → Beta Features and turn on MCP servers.
- Open Settings → Connectors → Add MCP server.
- Enter
https://<your-workspace>.onmonad.ai/mcpand tap Connect. - Sign in to Monad in the browser sheet and approve the consent screen.
- ChatGPT lists your Monad workspace under Connectors. Tools show up under the chat composer.
What ChatGPT can do
Anything you can do — read messages, send replies, search your workspace, edit canvas documents, comment on tasks, create databases, etc. Every action is attributed to your Monad account.
Revoke access
Settings → Personal → API keys & apps in Monad. Find the row for ChatGPT and tap Revoke. The next request from ChatGPT will fail immediately.
You can also revoke from inside ChatGPT (Settings → Connectors → Disconnect), which clears the local credentials too.
